Oilers ownership reportedly favors the intensity Babcock could bring, according to TSN insiders, yet the agent feedback quantifies the risk at multiple clients declining Edmonton overtures. The numerical contrast is stark: McDavid and Draisaitl together have drawn 14 unrestricted free agents since 2019, but none of those signings occurred under a coach facing similar player-relations questions.

Vegas pursues aggressive cap reset
